Disassembly and Assembly

When disassembling and assembling, unlock steering lock with key.
1. Install O-rings (1) before inserting shaft into jacket tube. Ensure that rounded surface of snap ring faces toward bearing when snap ring is installed.
2. Install snap ring on upper shaft.

Steering lock
1. Break self-shear type screws with a drill or other appropriate tool.
2. Install new self-shear type screws and then cut off self-shear type screw heads.

After installing steering column, check tilt mechanism operation.
