DTC Confirmation Test (Overall Function Check)

Malfunction is detected when voltage is sent to ECM from closed TP switch when throttle valve is opened. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Measure voltage between ground and ECM harness connector terminal No. 28 by backprobing. See Figure. Battery voltage should exist at idle. At 2000 RPM, about zero volts should exist.
