Door Switch Circuit Check
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using a voltmeter, backprobe appropriate terminals at Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) harness connector with appropriate door in appropriate position. See DOOR SWITCH INPUT VOLTAGE TEST

. If voltage is not as specified, go to next step. If voltage is as specified, door switch input signals are okay at this time.DOOR SWITCH INPUT VOLTAGE TEST
Door Position Terminal No. (Wire Color) Voltage Driver's Door Open 15 (Green/Red) 0 Closed 15 (Green/Red) 12 Passenger's Door Open 35 (Yellow) 0 Closed 35 (Yellow) 12 Any Door (1) Open 16 (Red/Yellow) 0 Closed 16 (Red/Yellow) 12 (1) Check voltage at terminal No. 16 at SECU harness connector with each door open and closed, including rear hatch. - Test malfunctioning door switch. See DOOR SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If door switch is defective, replace door switch. If door switch is okay, check door switch ground circuit and signal circuits for opens and/or shorts and repair as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
