Check For PCM DTCs
Prior to accessing any ABS/TCS DTCs, ensure no engine performance type DTCs are set. In some instances engine performance DTCs will automatically disable ABS/TCS operations. Always review and record all DTCs set whenever entering into self-diagnostics.
Enter into self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC - INTRODUCTION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Retrieve any DTCs set. If any of the following DTCs are set, go to appropriate testing procedure for DTC set. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION table. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If no engine performance type DTCs are set, continue with self-diagnostics for ABS/TCS related systems.
