NOTE: The multiplex control system may be diagnosed using vehicle's on-board diagnostic functions or Nissan CONSULT scan tool.

Verify customer's complaint. Begin LAN communication diagnosis. See DIAGNOSTICS USING INDICATOR LIGHTS  or NISSAN CONSULT DIAGNOSTICS  . If self-diagnostic results are present, repair as necessary and retest. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  . If self-diagnostic results are not present, see appropriate article related to malfunctioning system and diagnose by symptom.
