Monitor DTC Status
- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)", and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
- Is the DTC State "Present"?
"PRESENT"
- Replace the AWD ECM with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the AWD ECM.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
"HISTORY"
- The control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Clear the DTC and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
