Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the Engine Cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector (A).
  4. Disconnect the vapor hose (B), remove the purge control solenoid valve from the bracket.
