Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical check
  1. Heater control circuit open
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty HO2S
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine speed is higher than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor heater control circuit is open
  • Sensor heater output voltage is between 2.218V and 2.842V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (for 2.5 seconds by repeated 100 msec)
MIL On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
