Tailgate Open Switch

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the tailgate trim.

    (Refer to Body - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")

  3. Remove the tailgate back panel.

    (Refer to Body - "LIFTGATE BACK PANEL ")

  4. Remove the tailgate open switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
