July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Repair Procedures: Removal: Battery

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Remove the air duct (A).

  3. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A).

    Battery negative (-) terminal tightening nut: 

    7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  4. Disconnect the battery positive (+) terminal (A).

    Battery negative (-) terminal tightening nut: 

    7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the insulation pad.
  6. Remove the battery mounting bracket (B) after loosening the mounting bolt (A).

  7. Remove the battery.
