Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause

  • Monitor the ESC (ESP) CAN signals
  1. Poor contact of connectors of each communication module
  2. Open/short in the CAN communication circuit
  3. Faulty wheel speed sensor
  4. ABS/VDC
Prerequisite condition
  • Turn the ignition switch on or start the engine
Threshold value
  • An ESC 1 CAN message is not received
Diagnosis time
  • 2 sec.
