Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. EGR actuator motor is shorted to battery.
  3. Faulty EGR motor.
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V.
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator motor circuit is shorted to battery.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
