Repair procedures: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Hyundai Elantra and 2015 Hyundai Elantra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the valve body assembly.

    (Refer to "VALVE BODY ")

  2. Disconnect the input & output speed sensor connector (A) from the main wiring.
  3. Remove the input & output speed sensor (B) after removing the bolts (2ea).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
