DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Response rate
  1. Poor connection
  2. Leak or clog in intake air system
  3. Injector
  4. Fuel pressure
  5. S1
Enable Conditions
  • Dew point end detected
  • Fuel feed back control active
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
  • Exhaust Gas temperature is between 536°F and 1472°F.
  • No injector error
  • No upstream O2 sensor heater error
  • Engine speed is between 1800rpm and 2800rpm.
  • Engine load is between 20% and 65%.
Threshold Value
  • Cycle period of S1 signal is higher than 1.75 sec
Diagnostic Time
  • 11 cycle
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle

*S1: upstream oxygen sensor/S2: downstream oxygen sensor
