DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Check
  1. Open or Short to Ground in Control circuit
  2. Open or Short to Ground in Power circuit
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty VIS Sol. Valve
Enable Conditions
  • 6V < Battery voltage < 16V
  • Engine running
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground
  • Open circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
