General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor idle speed
  1. Intake system for blockage
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed = 0
  • Coolant temperature is higher than 158°F
  • Intake air temperature is higher than 18.5°F
  • Accel. Pedal = 0%
Threshold value Case 1
  • Difference of 'Desired engine speed' and 'Atucal engine speed' is lower than 200rpm or difference of 'max. Idle torque' and 'Actual Idle torque' is lower than 100Nm
Case 2
  • Fuel cut-off ≥ 3 times
Diagnostic Time
  • 15sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
