Repair procedures: Installation
CAUTION:
When installing the harness be sure it does not pinch or interfere with other parts.
- Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Install the STPS with two screws.
- Install the front seat assembly. (Refer to FRONT SEAT .)
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the Seat Track Position Sensor, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON, the SRS indicator should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
