Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor idle speed
  1. Intake system for air leakage
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed = 0
  • Coolant temperature > 70°C (158°F)
  • Intake air temperature > -7.5°C (18.5°F)
  • Accel. Pedal = 0%
Threshold value Case 1
  • Desired engine speed - Actual engine speed < -200rpm or max. Idle torque - Actual Idle torque < 100Nm
Case 2
  • Fuel cut-off ≥ 3 times
Diagnosis Time
  • 15sec
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
