Signal Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect IAT sensor connector.
Measure resistance between terminal 1 of the IAT sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Infinite
Is resistance within the specification?
YES:
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
NO:
- Repair short to ground in harness and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
