Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Disconnect HO2S (B1/S2) connector.
  3. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
  4. Measure voltage between terminal 2 of HO2S (B1/S2) and chassis ground.

    Specification: Approx. 0.45V

  5. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES  : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

    NO  : --> Repair short to power in signal circuit and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
