Disassembly

Generator




1. Remove the generator cover(A).




2. Disconnect the slip ring guard(A).




3. After loosening the 3 mounting bolts(A), detach the brush holder assembly(B).

CAUTION: Cutting the stator coil lead(A) line connecting to the rectifier(B) may damage the generator because the rectifier and the stator coil lead line are soldered together. So, do not disassemble further.




4. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
