Shift Control Assembly: Inspection
- Check the select cable for proper operation and for damage.
- Check the shift cable for proper operation and for damage.
- Check the boot for damage.
- Check each bushing for wear, abrasion, sticking, restricted movement or damage.
- Check for a weak or damaged return spring.
