Checking Fluid Level
NOTE:
Inspect for leakage in each component and check the oil level by removing the filler plug. If the oil is contaminated, replace it with new oil.
- With the vehicle parked on a level surface, remove the filler plug and make sure that the oil level is the same level as the plug hole. See Fig 1 .
- Check that the transaxle oil is not dirty.
- Fill as necessary with appropriate fluid. See RECOMMENDED FLUID . Install filler plug and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
