Replacement Procedure

PARTS REQUIRED

1. Open and secure hood.





2. Remove the radiator fan assembly.





3. Remove the heat protector mounting bolts (3 each) to the bank 2 exhaust manifold.





4. Locate the bank 2 02 sensor (upstream). Using a 22 mm wrench, remove the 02 sensor after disconnecting the sensor connector.

Install the new 02 sensor (P/N 39210-37165) and torque to 32 ft. lb. Reconnect the sensor connector.





5. Reinstall the removed heat protector and radiator blower.

6. Remove the air cleaner. Locate the bank 1 02 sensor (upstream) connector and then disconnect it.

7. Raise the vehicle.





8. Remove the front exhaust pipe mounting bolts (2 each), nuts (2 each) and hangers (2 each) and lower the pipe.





9. Locate the bank 1 02 sensor (upstream). Remove the 02 sensor using a 22 mm wrench.

Install the new 02 sensor (P/N 39210-37125) and torque to 32 ft-lb. Reinstall the front exhaust pipe.

10. Lower the vehicle. Reconnect the 02 sensor connector. Reinstall the air cleaner.

11. Close the hood.
