DTC P0112, P0113: Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor: Notes

NOTE: The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is built into the MAF sensor assembly which is located in the intake air duct between the air filter and throttle body. The IAT sensor is a variable resistor that changes resistance as intake air temperature changes. ECM uses IAT sensor signal to control fuel injector pulse width. When cold air is detected ECM will increase injector pulse width. When warm air is detected ECM decreases injector pulse width.
