Compressor HVAC: Service and Repair

1. Loosen the tension pulley and then remove the V belt.
2. Discharge the refrigerant.





3. Disconnect the suction and the discharge lines from the accumulator and then remove the accumulator assembly with mounting bracket.

NOTE: Plug all the open fittings immediately to keep moisture out of the system.





4. Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.
5. Remove the discharge hose and suction hose.
6. Remove the compressor.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
