Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Wiper Transmission Bolts & Electrical Connector

Align the wiper transmission to vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts (1) retaining the wiper transmission to the vehicle.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).
Connect the wiper motor electrical connector (2).
Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
Engage wipers and check for proper operation.
