VSA System Description - Brake Assist Control
The brake assist control constantly monitors brake operation through the pressure sensor. If the pedal stroke speed and pedal stroke amount exceed the predetermined values, it is considered to be emergency braking. When emergency braking is determined to be taking place, the VSA modulator-control unit increases braking force compared to normal braking and shortens the braking distance.
