Power Tailgate Inside Beeper Test/Replacement

  1. Remove the left D pillar trim (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - REAR SIDE AREA ).
  2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) form the power tailgate inside beeper (B).

  3. Test the beeper by connecting battery power to terminal No. 1 and ground to terminal No. 2. The beeper should sound.
  4. If the beeper does not sound, replace it.
