HFL Switch Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove the HFL switch (see HFL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).

2. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 4 in each switch position according to the table.
   HFL SWITCH
   
   

   Position	Resistance
   No buttons pressed	About 10 kΩ
   PICK UP button pressed	About 222 Ω
   HANG UP button pressed	About 47 Ω

3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the HFL switch (see HFL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
