DTC 81: TPMS Control Unit Failure
NOTE:
Low battery voltage can cause this DTC. Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition.

- Problem verification:
- 1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- 3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- 4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC 81 TPMS Control Unit Failure
Is DTC 81 indicated?
YES : The failure is duplicated. REPLACE THE TPMS CONTROL UNIT .
NO : Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
