Tailgate Lock Actuator Test
- Open the tailgate.
- Remove the tailgate lower trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE AREA
).
- Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the tailgate lock actuator (B).

- Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table below. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

- If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace it.
