July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor Replacement

  1. Remove the splash shield.
  2. Disconnect the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor connector, and remove the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor (A).

  3. Install a new O-ring (B) on a new input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor and apply clean ATF to the O-ring, then install the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor in the transmission housing.
  4. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connector securely.
  5. Install the splash shield.
