Specifications & Procedures

Vehicle is equipped with a drive belt auto-tensioner. Check that the auto-tensioner is within the standard range. See Fig 1. If auto-tensioner is out of standard range, replace the drive belt. Move the auto-tensioner to relieve tension from the drive belt, and remove the drive belt. Install new belt in reverse order of removal. See Fig 2.
