Removal & Installation
- Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect negative cable from battery. Pull up lock on ABS control unit 47-pin connector, then disconnect connector. See Fig 1 . Disconnect 6 brake lines. Remove ABS modulator-control unit bracket from body. Remove the two 6 mm shoulder bolts and 6 mm bolt from bracket, then remove ABS modulator control unit from bracket.
- To install, reverse removal procedures and torque bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
