Gear Position Switch
Disconnect gear position switch connector. See Figure . Check for continuity between specified terminals of gear position switch connector terminals with transmission in appropriate gear. See GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. If continuity is not as specified, check switch adjustment. See GEAR POSITION SWITCH under ADJUSTMENTS. If adjustment is okay, replace gear position switch.
