July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

DTC P1635 (79): Battery Condition Monitor (BCM) Module Problem

  1. Reset the MCM (see HOW TO RESET THE MCM ).
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and wait for 5 seconds.

    Is DTC P1635 (79) indicated? 

    1. YES  - Substitute a known-good BCM module, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original BCM module.
    2. NO  - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
