Reassembly & Adjustments

Apply liberal amounts of power steering fluid to Teflon seal rings and Spool Valve Seal Sizer (J-38250). Install rings onto Spool Valve Seal Sizer and then onto control valve. Install control valve upper bearing and seal. Using Spool Valve Installer (J-38251), install control valve into control valve housing. Install control valve lower seal. Install return elbow to position marked previously. Tighten return line elbow flare nut to 32 ft. lbs. (43 N.m).
