Clutch Assembly: Installation

  1. Position clutch disc and pressure plate on flywheel and support. Clutch disc is installed with damper springs toward transaxle.
  2. Install pressure plate bolts and tighten evenly until tight to avoid possible clutch distortion. Lightly lubricate release bearing sliding surfaces and input shaft with grease. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
