Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 Sensor element temperature via measuring element resistance
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty related fuse
  3. Open/Short in power circuit
  4. Open/Short in control circuit
  5. Faulty downstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • Maximum heating time for oxygen sensor activation after reaching dew point is more than 115 seconds
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor resistance is higher than 800 Ω
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
