Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Open the tail gate.
  3. Remove the luggage covering mat (A).

  4. Remove the luggage center tray (A).

  5. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A).

    Tightening torque:  5.9 - 11.8 N.m (0.6 - 1.2 kgf.m, 4.3 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  6. Disconnect the battery sensor connector (A).

  7. Remove the battery sensor cable after loosening the mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening torque:  5.9 - 11.8 N.m (0.6 - 1.2 kgf.m, 4.3 - 8.7 lb-ft)
