WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2024 Genesis G80. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The mood lamp control system consists of a MLM* and mood lamp controllers. The MLM* judges and controls the operation of the mood lamp by sending/receiving mood lamp control-related signals via CAN communication. And, the MLM* controls the mood lamp controller via LIN communication.
- USM* Information: Mood Lamp ON/OFF, color and brightness
→ A separate USM* setting is required to control the brightness of the mood lamp. This is different from the rheostat adjustment that controls the interior lights.
- Vehicle Information: Mood Lamp's ON/OFF timing and B+, ACC, IG1, IG2
- Control of the slave controller: Mood Lamp ON/OFF, color and brightness
