Rear Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
WARNING:
- Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
Remove the rear seat back assembly.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Loosen the mounting bolts, remove the RSAB assembly (A).
Tightening torque:

5.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.8 kgf.m, 2.9 - 5.8 lb-ft)

Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the RSAB (A).
Tightening torque:

5.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.8 kgf.m, 2.9 - 5.8 lb-ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should turn on for about 3-6 seconds and then go off.
