Removal And Installation

  1. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
  2. Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub.

    Tightening torque: 

    107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire.
  3. Loosen the mounting bolts (A) and then remove the G-Sensor from the shock absorber.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

  4. Remove the fixed clip (B) and then disconnect the connector (A).

  5. Remove the grommet and then remove the G-Sensor.

  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
