July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Component Inspection: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Genesis G90. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF" and Using a GDS, clear the DTC.
  2. Ignition "OFF".
  3. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minutes.
  4. Disconnect Bodysensor Mat connector.
  5. Substitute the Bodysensor Mat and check for proper operation.
  6. Is DTC present problem?

    YES 

    • Substitute a known-good Bodysensor OCU (ECU), and check for proper operation.

    If the problem is corrected, replace Bodysensor OCU (ECU) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure and Go to "BODY SENSOR RESET " procedure.

    NO 

    • Substitute a known-good Bodysensor Mat, and check for proper operation.

If the problem is corrected, replace Bodysensor Mat and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
