Check Charging System
- Start the engine and raise the engine speed to 2500~3000 RPM.
- Turn ON all electrical loads by turning on the headlamps, and by turning on the high blower motor, etc.
- Monitor the battery (ignition) voltage parameter on the GDS data list.

YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Possibility of charging system malfunction. Repair or replace alternator and battery. Refer to CHARGING SYSTEM - 2.0L . And then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
