DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • No Message from HVAC
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty CAN communication line between ECM and HVAC
  3. Faulty HVAC
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 rpm
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 2.6 seconds
Threshold Value
  • No message during 500 msec. from HAVC ((Ambient Air Temperature Sensor)
Diagnosis Time
  • 1.5 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
