DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN message from FECM
  1. Faulty fuel pump control module (FECM)
  2. CAN communication line between ECM and FECM
  3. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Run Time is more than 2 seconds
  • Battery Voltage is greater than 11V
Threshold Value
  • CAN communicating error with FECM
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
