Monitor DTC Status
- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch and start the engine.
- Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
Clear the DTC using the GDS and see if it returns.
- Did P311400 return?
YES
- Check if the EMS ECU was properly installed in the engine (2.0T, R2.2, 3.3T).
NO
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
