Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical check
  1. Open or Short to ground in power circuit
  2. Open or short to ground in signal circuit
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty APS2
Prerequisite condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".
Threshold Value
  • APS2 output voltage is lower than 0.13V.
  • APS2 sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
Mil On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
